Performance
Golf Schools
The Performance Golf Schools aims at teaching the game of golf to beginners, rather than
just fine-tuning their skills. They concentrate on parts of the game like building a
firm full swing, the short game and the psychological aspects. The golf instructions are
designed to give an actual feel of the game so students can leave with the confidence
knowing they can handle the different shots in golf.
At this weekend golf academy, the teachers weigh the requirements and uniqueness of each
individual. Besides teaching the rules of golf, they also apply the philosophy of the
game in accordance with individual skill levels. The ratio of students to each teacher
is kept low, as it ensures proper understanding and quick learning.
The Golf Instructors at this Golf Academy are mainly PGA Tour winners. The golf academy
also makes use of the services of Dr. Charlie Blanchard, an internationally known expert
in the field of sports psychology. Performance Golf Schools wants to make sure
this part of the game is understand by all of the students
The golf instruction last for two days. They're scheduled on the weekend so that it
doesn't interrupt with the busy lives of most people. The golf schools are located
throughout New Mexico at six impressive locations. The student should expect rigorous
tutoring with supportive performance and concrete play.
Packages The tuition fee structure at this golf academy is very simple and affordable.
For the Junior Golf School, there is a straight fee of $195 and $295 for adults, for a
weekend session of two days. The fee does not include any meals.
The weekend golf session at Performance Golf Schools, aims at enabling you to learn and
be able to play the game of golf confidently.
Day one - The golf instructions include the basics of the short game
like chipping, pitching and putting. Once a learner is aware of these, he/she can easily
keep low scores. This is followed by nine holes under the guidance of Golf
instructors, in the afternoon.
Day two - The golf instructors' aim at boosting the confidence of each
student with their shot making. They tackle particular weaknesses of each player on
individual basis. Changes in swing, practice of various methods like 'bunker play' and
special strokes like 'downhill lies' take place. An exclusive clinic session teaches the
importance of strong will power and the art of managing stress while playing golf.
The second half of the day consists of practice on nine holes just as the day before.
